We Are Hiring!

As a plaintiff personal injury law firm based in North York, we are, and we serve, a multicultural, multilingual community here in the north of the city. We are looking for an associate lawyer with strong legal, client service, and negotiating skills to join our team. The ideal candidate must be a team player with a commitment to serving injured and disadvantaged people while demonstrating a commitment to the firm and to their community.

We are looking for a full-time associate who can step in to cover a maternity leave and, we hope, stay on a permanent basis thereafter. Our firm has a team model; you will carry your own caseload, supervise your own experienced assistant, and have access to mentorship from the rest of our lawyers. You will need to be able to manage your caseload independently while knowing how to ask for help when you need it.

You must have experience in civil litigation. Knowledge of personal injury and statutory accident benefits practice is an asset, as is fluency in another language, particularly Spanish. Volunteer involvement in your community is an asset.

Our model for lawyer compensation is an adequate base salary plus commissions. Employee benefits include extended health, dental & disability coverage, RRSP contributions, and flexible hours. We expect you to work in-office most of the time.

Send your c.v. to careers@carranza.on.ca by December 5, 2025. Interviews will take place December 15th-18th, and the position will start January 5, 2025.
