A victim in a car accident was struggling to return to work at her heavy job in a factory. She was missing days and going on and off short-term disability, and her employer was getting angrier and angrier.
Her employer terminated her employment and cited “downsizing” as the reason. She came to see Anu without any work and any entitlement to disability benefits. Anu negotiated fair compensation for the loss of her job, monies for medical benefits and reinstatement of long-term disability benefits.
