A son of immigrant parents, Rolando witnessed early in life that being an immigrant often means that one has to work twice as hard in order to survive. His experience growing up guanaco in southwestern Ontario fuels his drive to zealously advocate on behalf of his clients.

While Rolando calls the GTA and southwestern Ontario home, he has also lived, worked and studied in Asia, Africa and South America. Rolando is able to draw on these broad cross cultural experiences in order to communicate with his clients across national, religious and cultural lines.

As a personal injury lawyer, Rolando is passionate about and dedicated to obtaining just compensation for injured victims and relies on years of rigorous academic preparation to navigate and resolve challenging legal problems.

Accident victims can at times be overwhelmed as they wade through the legal system that governs their claims. Knowing this, Rolando discusses and clarifies the law and process governing personal injury compensation with his clients in order to make the experience less daunting. He does this by drawing on his pre-law experiences as a language instructor and mentor which have helped him cultivate solid communication and keen listening skills.

Rolando passionately supports social justice initiatives. Specifically, he has given his time to the Pro Bono Students of Canada-Family Law Project, Community Legal Services Program at Osgoode Hall Law School, and the Centre for Spanish Speaking Peoples Legal Clinic. More recently he had the opportunity to work with the Truth and Reconciliation Commissions of Canada and Honduras.

Rolando articled with a prominent law firm serving First Nations across Canada. There he worked on complex legal files requiring substantive research and prepared legal memoranda on environmental, constitutional, and treaty law matters.
