At Carranza we view our work seeking justice for victims of car accidents and secure status and opportunities for newcomers to Canada as only part of our contribution to our communities. Our lawyers and staff are also involved in pro-bono legal work, volunteer work, and boards of directors of a variety     of     community

organizations  seeking  to

improve conditions for our communities.

Volunteer Activities

Visit the websites of some of the community organizations where members of Carranza volunteer or serve as board members.  These include the December 6 Fund, the Indigenous Peoples Law and Policy Program, La Paz Cooperative, the Canadian-Hispanic Congress, the Salvation Army, the Scott Mission, and the South Asian Legal Clinic of Ontario.

Educational Opportunities

In keeping with our responsibility to give back to the community, Carranza provides work placements to students interested in exploring law as a career, at every stage of their education.  At any given time, we usually have a coop student from high school, the Seneca College law clerk program, and/or the Humber College law clerk program, in addition to an articling student preparing for the call to the Bar as a lawyer.
