Aliza approaches her clients’ cases in a unique way. She takes a holistic approach to legal representation and aims to get her clients back on their feet. She is strongly committed to rehabilitation and reintegrating clients into their families, work force and society.
In fact, Aliza holds herself to a high moral standard. Simply put, she helps others in the way she would like to be helped if she were in their situation. She views one family member’s injury as damage to the entire family unit that requires repair.
Aliza is a strong and caring advocate for children who are dealing with multiple issues including learning disabilities.
Aliza is actively involved in the Arrowsmith School. She is the founding parent advocate that introduced the Arrowsmith Program into the Jewish private day school system in Toronto. She currently directs the program at Eitz Chaim Schools on a volunteer basis.
The extensive specialized experience that she gained from her ongoing work with the Arrowsmith School was a natural fit with her representation of accident victims suffering from cognitive injuries. Her specialty lies in head injuries resulting in cognitive impairment and sensory processing disorders
Through personal experience and contacts, she has developed a strong network of professionals in Canada and the United States that specialize in minimizing the cognitive, learning and sensory defects often arising out of head injuries.
Aliza was drawn to insurance litigation because of its strong similarities to legal analysis and interpretation of texts that was ingrained within her since she was a child. She draws upon her strengths as a scholar of Judaic law to enhance her method of practice.
Her ability to relate to people of all ages, beliefs and cultures allows Aliza insight to their unique needs. While she may not share the same faith as a client, she shares their commitment to ethics, honesty and healing.
